I began my Financial Services career in 2006 with my roles of being a Broker, Wealth Management Consultant, and corporate support staff, as well as my current roles of Associate Advisor and Paraplanner. I earned my Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation in 2016. Shortly after that, I enrolled at the University of North Texas, where I completed my degree in Risk Management and Financial Services.
While attending UNT, I was a member of Gamma Iota Sigma, a professional fraternity for students of insurance, risk management, and actuarial sciences. I was named “Outstanding Student in Financial Planning”* while also winning the Financial Planning competition in my graduating semester. I was also named a “Great Grad of UNT” in the Fall of 2020, an honor bestowed on students who overcame adversity and achieved great things on their way to becoming college graduates. I shared my experience at the 2022 Advisor Group W Forum in my Keynote speech “Choose the Bigger Life: How I escaped an abusive relationship, restarted my career, and gained my purpose.”
I earned my CFP® certification in July 2021 and the designation of Behavioral Financial Advisor™ in 2022. I am passionate about financial education, family... and Detroit Tigers baseball. One of my bucket list items is to visit all of the Major League Ballparks with my son, James.
