Mike's Approach

Mike is committed to providing independent, customized guidance to help clients pursue the financial health and confidence they desire. By utilizing various financial tools he is able to get a clear picture of each client's financial condition and then help them formulate a plan to pursue their goals. Mike works independently of any product providers which reassures his clients they will be presented with a strategy that is appropriate for them. Mike attempts to simplify complex financial principles and products for his clients, making it easier for them to understand recommendations and make informed decisions.

Professional Accolades

Mike has been a Million Dollar Round Table qualifier each year he has been in the financial services business. He was affiliated with the John Hancock Financial Network (JHFN) and Signator Investors, Inc. from 1993 until 2018 when the company was merged with Royal Alliance Associates, Inc. Mike was awarded JHFN's prestigious ACE Award which recognized its leading representatives for demonstrating a high level of professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. Mike received the annual ACE Award 21 times and was inducted into JHFN's coveted Hall of Fame in 2012.  In 2016, Nfocus Financial Partners was named Signator Investors’ Practice of Year.


Mike has lived in the Dallas area since 1983. He has been married to Trudy since 1967 and they have two children and three grandchildren. Mike is an active member of his church and teaches Sunday school to first-grade children. He enjoys playing golf, collecting sports memorabilia and fishing - pictured here with a shark on the line!


ACHIEVING CLIENT EXCELLENCE Award (ACE) was granted by former broker-dealer Signator Investors, Inc.  and the John Hancock family of companies.  The ACE award is granted to the top 250 advisors each year based on total weighted premium from the sale of both proprietary and non-proprietary protection and wealth products.  No other factors are considered.  Third-party rankings and recognitions are no guarantee of future investment success and do not ensure that a client or prospective client will experience a higher level of performance or results. HALL of FAME honor was an elite group of financial representatives of former broker-dealer Signator Investors, Inc. and the John Hancock family of companies. To be included in the HOF, inductees need to qualify for the ACE award 15 times.

MILLION DOLLAR ROUND TABLE - Qualifying membership in the MDRT is based on minimum commission and gross business generated within a year. Each MDRT status designation is granted for one year only. All members must apply every year to continue their affiliation with the Million Dollar Round Table.
